I'm not sure I understand you, but the phrase "that the VR is actual" -
actual _what_? This isn't Coleridge's "willing suspension of disbelief" -
instead, as in ordinary physical reality, it's a question of
representations, mediations, and tacit knowledge (Polyani). I'd say that
actual itself has multiple meanings in this context - Alan
